Klutzy Teacher?!

Was informed by the organising PE teacher that my name has been entered for the friendly match of captain's ball. It's an ACES-cum-teacher's day celebration for this year's teacher's day.

The last time I played a team sports was like...what? Half a decade ago? Any good buddies of mine would probably know how klutzy I'm at sports. For I have a weird affinity with balls. Not that kind of affinity whereby you play well and score...rather that kind that hits me in a game...

Honestly...I'm not exactly keen for the day to come...Seriously, when had teacher's day celebration become a day for us to SWEAT??!! Ok, pardon my whining for awhile...

On another note, I count myself lucky that I didn't get signed up for sports like rugby...Keeping my fingers crossed about the student-teacher friendly matches here.......

Sexy Ones (A Random Note)

Am in the committee for staff welfare at my workplace. Somehow found this a teensy bit amusing - the name of our committee is SED-C(Staff Engagement & Development Committee), hence we (the committee members) are all known as the SEXY ONES. Not that I have any issues with that but why the name of "staff engagement & development" instead of "staff welfare committee"??? Might have been more obvious to others what the committee does, for the latter right???
