Guessing Bet

Recently met a bunch of good friends again. Been meeting different groups of friends this holidays. I definitely understand that, given our age group, it is perfectly normal and expected of such phenomenon. Yet, still can't help but be amused and bemused at the same time that I'm experiencing it with every group of my friends that I have met.

During recent gatherings, it has always been the guessing and betting game of who'd be the 1st to be tying the knot amongst us. Pretty normal and expected a thing you'd say, but still, I found it kinda eyebrow-raising and amusing personally.

Was watching GLee with a fellow mate at the recent training camp during our nights. The acapella singing in the show atmosphere was really infectious for me...found a song 'Don't Stop Believin' an especially sticky song. Was listening to it over the weekend. I must say with each play, it brought out memories of the days with the Hall Voicers stronger than the previous play. It was to a point that I savoured the days so strongly that I had the urge to rewind time and wished I was singing with the group again...But no..it wasn't an experience any KTV session could replace.

Voicers days were good, especially practising hard for AMplitude...I missed it all, but don't get me wrong, it ain't nostalgia here, but a warm fuzzy feelings, for I'm glad of the memories and times we've had together :)

Litmus Test

Not sure for you, but every situation together is like a learning opportunity for me, a litmus test for you as well. Somehow, they all make me more sure of the Grand decision...Kudos to you, Just You.

Singapore Town

Had the luxury to take a good look at the scenery around town once again as I was in the area to run some personal errands. Haven't had a bus ride for long time, hence decided on a bus trip down to my next destination.

I've always enjoyed bus rides as I like looking at the scenery and landmarks that passes by along the way. Had realised quite a few spots which I've yet to explore and they'll likely be my next destination(s) when I'm on a tourist-y crave. So I should probably be grabbing my camera some time now that the holidays are here.

Potential spots that will ease my cravings:
- Civil Defence Museum (Old Firestation): Looks a pretty cool place, I should probably go there especially when the top watch tower's open at night
- Double Helix Bridge: New addition to the local tourist spot, wanna see if it's literally DNA!
- Fort Canning Park: Seems like a hot ROM place, but've never explored it in daylight, so I'm wondering if it's really that nice???

=====================================================

On a random note, as I was on the bus, in my tourist-y mood, thinking about my tourist-y little adventures, I was suddenly reminded of my days in Europe. Perhaps because I had plenty of company but I suddenly had a random thought: "How nice if there were nice enough fields or big enough trees for us to sit or lie on the grass, read a book and enjoy the breeze of nature with some nice sandwiches and tea". For that, I suddenly thought that it was a pity I wasn't crazy enough to do that when I was in Europe. How random and crazy a thought right? Haha...

Oh well, hope I find that pasture someday, somehow, somewhere :)
