A Teacher's Shopping List

Popular Book Co. will be a teacher's frequent shopping spot.
My shopping list as a beginning teacher:

- button magnets (for teaching chemistry - low-tech animation)
- (many!) files (there's lots of filing of resources to do)
- a bell/buzzer (classroom management)
- ten year series (teaching resources)
- a dozen red pens (an essential with all that marking!!)
- stamps (to avoid repetitive writing of comments e.g. "seen", "untidy", "late" & "well done")

That's all for now. I suspect the list might grow with time....

Post - CNY Sales

Advice for girls or even the guys who do shopping as hobby:

- Buy CNY clothes during christmas sales for the coming CNY
- Buy just enough clothes (like 2 outfits) to last the 1st 2 days of CNY
- Go on a shopping spree after 1st few days of CNY as prices are slashed; you can get really good deals during this time ;)

To makes things convincing, an example to illustrate my point(s):
bYSI clothes were cheaper during the post-CNY sales (some skirts & tops were going at $18; by some I don't mean 1 0r 2, but quite a number of items....) when the clothes were usually priced at $39 minimum for tops and definitely more for bottoms.

So....go grab your buys now!!!

Collector's Joy

New additions to my personal board games collection:
- Guillotine (this one is about beheading as many royals as possible in order to win)
- Saboteur (this one is about taking the role of either a miner or saboteur; the former's goal is to get to the hidden gold and the latter to thwart the former's plans)

Random browsing online shopping sites that led to the delight of a collector: 2 games at 40bucks! A price that would not have been possible if bought off the shelves from the game shop ;)
